All Top cases include a FREE universal mounting bracket that attaches to and stays on your luggage rack. Other brands make you pay extra for their base plate. Not SHAD. Base Plate is included.

All models require your bike to have a luggage rack. So, you need a luggage rack in order to fasten the mounting plate for the case. Also, if you have a sissy bar or passenger backrest, you may have to remove it to mount the top case. Backrests are available for top cases so the passenger should be okay without the sissy bar or the seat’s backrest.
